About the event
Connecticut’s first mandatory recycling laws were passed in the 1980’s with a goal of recycling 25% of the state’s solid waste stream by 1991. How solid waste is handled in Connecticut has changed dramatically since that time. One of the challenges we see everyday is that people don’t know what is recyclable and what is not. They don’t know what to do with hard to recycle products. Some don’t believe these products are recycled at all.
CRC is excited to bring you our newest series of webinars, free to members, with representatives from all four of the state’s MRF’s - All American, Casella, WIN and Oak Ridge - to answer your questions about how Connecticut is handling its recycling today…….and what is in store in the near future.
